A beginner routine should feel simple enough to repeat every day. The goal in the morning is to cleanse gently, protect the skin barrier, and prepare your face for makeup or sunscreen-only days.

Step 1: Cleanse Gently

Use a mild cleanser that removes overnight oil without leaving your skin tight. If your skin feels dry in the morning, a short rinse with lukewarm water can also work before serum.

Step 2: Add an Antioxidant Serum

Vitamin C is a strong beginner-friendly option because it supports brightness and helps protect against daily environmental stress. Use two to four drops and press into damp skin.

Step 3: Lock in Hydration

Choose a lightweight moisturizer with ceramides or glycerin. The right moisturizer keeps your barrier calm and helps makeup sit more evenly through the day.

Step 4: Never Skip SPF

Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning, even on cloudy days. For reliable coverage, use roughly two finger lengths of sunscreen for face and neck.

Step 5: Keep It Consistent

You do not need ten products to get results. Start with a core routine, stay consistent for at least four weeks, and only add new steps one at a time.
